Two Big Events. One Weekend.

This weekend, TurnoutHQ is representing at two of the biggest events on the equestrian calendar: Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event in Lexington, KY and Interscholastic Equestrian Association National Finals in Lake St Louis, MO. Whether you’re headed to the 5*, IEA Nationals, or just following along from home, we’ve got a weekend full of excitement ahead. This weekend at Kentucky come find us at the INDOOR TRADE FAIR at booth 125 (right across from Kerrits, near the Jumbotron) with our friends at Deco Pony! Scan our QR code and you'll be entered to win a Yeti Cooler Backpack!

Where To Find Us At IEA Nationals

Swing by the vendor area at the end of the Hunt Seat schooling ring near the ingate and find us with The Show Trunk II. We'll be giving away a Yeti backpack at this event as well, so make sure you come by and enter while you're shopping!

Young Riders Chase Dreams at IEA Nationals

For many young equestrians, qualifying for the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Nationals is the ultimate goal, and this season two Dressage riders from opposite coasts are preparing to experience it for the first time.

One rider, a freshman from the Boston area, has been part of IEA for three years and serves on the IEA Youth Board, a student-led group that works with National staff. The Youth Board helps organize rider meetings at events, creating opportunities for riders to build friendships through games and shared experiences. She describes qualifying for Nationals as a dream come true and says one of her favorite moments from this season was celebrating with teammates after strong rides at Zone Finals secured their spot.

Another rider, a senior from California, has been competing in IEA since sixth grade and recently joined the Youth Board as a Dressage delegate for her Zone. She says Nationals is special because it brings teams together in a way that few equestrian competitions do. Her most memorable moment came at Zone Finals, held on her birthday, when her Dressage team qualified for Nationals. As an extra bonus, the team’s walk trot rider - who was last to go - secured her spot with a first-place finish!

Both riders say the team-centered nature of IEA makes the experience unique. While many horse competitions are individual sports, IEA encourages teamwork, friendship, and support, making Nationals not just a competition, but a celebration of community.
